The committee will receive an update from NYC DOT on the Beverley Road Bridge State of Good Repair Project and hear from Open Plans on low traffic neighborhoods and DDC on pedestrian safety improvements. The agenda will also include a review of proposed speed limit changes on streets surrounding schools under Sammy’s Law.
Representatives from nonprofit organizations will take part in a conversation on services and resources. Open to invited nonprofit and agency staff.
The committee will hear a presentation from the School Construction Authority on a capital improvement project at Erasmus High School, learn about the temporary closure of the Midwood Library, and review the 2026 Youth Resource Fair.
The committee will conduct a performance review for the District Manager, hold an orientation for new board members, and review meeting practices and training opportunities.
