Brooklyn Community Board 14 will host a free screening of Emergent City, a documentary examining the redevelopment of Industry City and the broader land use, development, and gentrification issues it raises for communities citywide.
The film, directed by Kelly Anderson and Jay Arthur Sterrenberg, runs approximately 75 minutes and follows the debate over a major rezoning proposal, highlighting perspectives from residents, workers, business owners, and policymakers.
