FDNY Mask Distribution and Air Quality Tips

FDNY is distributing N-95 masks

Wildfires in Canada continue to severely impact the air quality in New York City. The FDNY will be distributing N-95 masks at several locations. Limit is 2 masks per person.

Reduce Your Smoke Exposure:

  • Stay inside with doors and windows closed.
  • If you must be outside, wear an N95. Be aware of changing smoke conditions.
  • Use an air purifier, if available.
