Centennial Forum: 100 Ideas for the Next 100 Years
You’ve heard WNYC reflect on and celebrate its 100th anniversary, now the CAB wants to hear from you! The NYPR CAB invites you to share thoughts and ideas on the 100 issues, events, and people NYPR must cover in its next 100 years.
Combining the Centennial celebration of WNYC and the season of resolutions, listeners are invited to think forward about the 100 years to come.
What issues and ideas will be most important for the station to cover over the next century?
What local, national, or international events should WNYC, WQXR, NJPR, Gothamist, and the Greene Space be keying in on that will shape the 2030’s, 2040’s, 2050’s and beyond?
How can the station re-center and raise up communities across the listening area for the next 100 years?
On the air, we’ve heard from station archivists, local historians, and hosts about how WNYC constantly evolved to meet the moment for all communities of our listening area. It’s now your turn to show the way forward. This is a conversation for everybody, no matter your age, identity, locale, or listening habits.
