With support from the City Council, Prospect Park Alliance will transform a former restroom facility adjacent to the Ocean and Parkside Avenue entrance into a new Shirley Chisholm Welcome Center. This upgraded space will offer visitor information and restroom amenities, complementing the nearby monument honoring Chisholm’s legacy. Additional resources have been allocated to include exhibit panels celebrating her life and impact.
