Automated Camera Enforcement Begins on B60 and B68 Bus Routes

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will activate Automated Camera Enforcement (ACE) on the B60 and B68 bus routes starting December 8, 2025. A 60-day warning period will begin on that date, as required by New York State law.

ACE uses bus-mounted cameras to enforce existing traffic laws on bus corridors. The system issues notices to vehicles that improperly use bus lanes or busways, block bus stops, or are illegally double parked along bus routes.

During the initial 60 days, warning notices will be mailed. After the warning period ends, violations will result in summonses. Routes with ACE enforcement are posted with signage indicating camera enforcement and hours of operation.
