MTA Bus Operators Job Fair
The MTA is hiring 2,000 Bus Operators
Open House: Saturday, August 17, 9 a.m. – 12 noon Bronx High School of Science 75 West 205 Street, Bronx, NY 10468
Applications are being accepted for positions with the MTA Bus Company and MaBSTOA. Bring your Social Security Card, Driver’s License (valid for three years), and proof of Commercial Driver’s License or Permit. Those who are not processed on the same day will be given a future appointment. You must pass a drug screening to be appointed as a Bus Operator, and if appointed, you will be subject to random drug and alcohol tests for the duration of your employment. Be advised that the federal DOT drug panel includes marijuana, and you will be tested for marijuana use. Open house entrance guaranteed to the first 1,000 attendees.
MaBSTOA is the Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority (MaBSTOA), a subsidiary of the NYC Transit Authority. It operates buses in upper Manhattan and the Bronx. The MTA Bus Company (MTA Bus), a subsidiary of the MTA, provides express and some local bus services in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens (traveling to Manhattan). Both MaBSTOA and the MTA Bus Company offer a robust benefits package that includes a pension.
