Meet with representatives from NYC Dept. of Finance to sign up for exemptions, correct errors on your Notice of Property Value, challenge your property tax (bring comparables), pay, or address arrears. Behind with your mortgage or fear you soon will be? Have questions about your mortgage? Housing counselors will also be on hand to assist you
Bring for ALL owners:
- Government-issued photo ID
- 2022 income tax return OR 2022 Social Security and pension 1099 forms
- If applicable:
- SSA Disability Notice of Award Letter or other disability proof
- Proof of military service: Form DD-214, etc
- Recent mortgage statement (for mortgage counseling only)
- Power of Attorney, Trust, or Life Estate documents
- Death Certificate
All owners must be present to sign application!
