SBA Small Business Certifications and Government Contracting Opportunities Webinar
An overview of SBA small business certifications and related government contracting opportunities will be provided.
Congresswoman Yvette Clarke is partnering with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) New York District Office & the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to host a two-part series virtual information session.
This session will provide an overview of SBA small business certifications and related government contracting opportunities. An SBA representative will review the requirements and how to apply for key SBA small business certifications, including the 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned Small Business and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program. Collectively, these programs provide a competitive advantage to targeted small businesses and/or an opportunity to compete for exclusive, set-aside contracts.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke’s office at (718) 287-1142.
