Residents of Community District 14, a reminder: your curbside composting service includes year-round leaf collection. Ensure proper disposal of leaf and yard waste in a labeled bin with a secure lid or in your DSNY brown compost bin, extra leaf and yard waste can be put in a paper lawn & leaf bag or clear plastic bag. Leaves should be placed with other curbside compost material and will be collected on your recycling day.
To further support leaf composting and recycling efforts, CB14 is distributing free leaf bags to our residents. Please call the CB14 District Office at 718-859-6357 to make arrangements to pick up free leaves and yard waste bags.
