The committee will hear FDC on programs and services for youth and from CAMBA on fostering family acceptance for LGBTQ+ youth. The committee will also discuss the 2026 Youth Conference.
The Executive Committee and chairs of topical and regional committees will review meeting practices.
This meeting will begin with two public hearings on retail cannabis applications, followed by the regular monthly meeting of the board. Everyone is welcome!
The committee will hear an overview of programs, services, and the preliminary plan for 1455 Coney Island Avenue from the Sephardic Community Health Center, followed by a project outline on the impact of City of Yes in CB14 from a Planning Fellow with the Fund for the City of New York.
The committee will host a workshop led by the Independent Budget Office on how to find and interpret school budget information and hear a presentation by NYC Public Library Action Network on a campaign for library funding. The committee will continue planning for the 2026 Youth Conference.

The meeting will feature presentations on the Neighborhood Tree Planting Program from the Parks Department, public programs at the Prospect Park Zoo, and upcoming programs and community outreach at the All in One Community Center. The agenda will also include an announcement of a lighting project from the Church–Flatbush Community Alliance.
