Gain hands-on experience in forest restoration while earning $16.50/hour in Prospect Park, home to Brooklyn’s last remaining forest. Youth Crew members work on trail maintenance, plant native species, remove invasive plants, and help sustain the park’s woodlands. The program runs from April to October with spring and fall sessions on Saturdays and Monday-Friday summer session. Open to youth seeking professional experience in green careers.
The program runs from April – October, 9 AM – 4:30 PM
- Spring: Saturdays, April 5-May 17
- Summer: Monday-Friday, July 7-August 22
- Fall: Saturdays, September 13-October 25
- Rate: $16.50/hour
