The NYC Law Department Family Court Division is calling all NYC high school students interested in: juvenile justice, family law, mental health, community outreach and engagement. Explore the work of the NYC Law Department Family Court Division. YLC members will learn about careers as: attorney, paralegal, victim advocate, resource specialist and more! This program starts on January 9, 2025, on Thursdays from 4-6PM at 350 Jay Street Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn DA’s Office is offering a paid internship for high school juniors and seniors, with a weekly stipend of $150 (pro-rated if needed). Applicants must attend high school in Brooklyn and provide a one-page résumé, the latest transcript, working papers, and a personal essay. The application deadline is January 17, 2025. The winter session runs from February 18 to February 21, and the spring session from April 18 to April 18. More details, including full requirements, are available on the DA’s Office website.
