This program helps jobseekers build skills while working to keep New York City’s parks and playgrounds clean and green. Through the Parks Opportunity Program, participants take on a six-month maintenance role with NYC Parks, earning $18.54 per hour. The program also offers paid career coaching, resume development, and the chance to earn valuable credentials such as a high school equivalency diploma, driver’s license, CDL, security certifications, and horticulture training. Services focus on empowerment, connection to care, and overcoming barriers.
