Internationally trained nurses can improve their English skills and prepare for U.S. licensure through a no-cost NCLEX-RN Preparation Course for English Language Learners. This program supports nurses in strengthening their English, understanding the U.S. healthcare system, and preparing for the NCLEX-RN exam to become licensed in New York State. Eligibility: Open to NYC residents authorized to work in the U.S. with a nursing degree from outside the U.S., high-intermediate English proficiency, and an annual income of $40,000 or less if employed. Applicants must also have submitted a nurse license verification application, access to a computer and internet, and be COVID-19 vaccinated (unless exempt)
