Resource event supporting older adults as they prepare to re-enter the workforce. This event is particularly relevant for individuals impacted by recent changes to ABAWD SNAP work requirements, and aims to connect participants with tools, services, and opportunities that support employment readiness.
Participants can expect:
- Skills development workshops and career guidance
- Resume and cover letter support
- Information on workforce programs and training opportunities
- Guidance on benefits navigation and SNAP requirement updates

- 11:30AM-12:30PM: Department for the Aging – Programming 101 – Resume and Cover Letter Building
- 12:30-1:30PM: Navigating Online Benefits Enrollment: Portals, E-Signature and Phone Interviews – Workforce Programs and Training Opportunities – Ageless Resilience: Mindset, Tools, and Resources for Today’s Job Seekers
- 2:00-2:30PM: Closing remarks
