October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month: Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn joins in spreading awareness to constituents in her district who may or may not know what domestic violence looks like in and outside of our communities. To ensure our community is not deprived of informational resources that are available but may not be known – the office of Assemblymember Bichotte Hermelyn will host its Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event on Thursday, October 24, 2024, between 6:00pm and 8:00pm at Sun River Health Center, newly opened location: 2351 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226 (between Tilden Avenue and Beverly Road).

The event will kick-off with a 30-minute networking opportunity for constituents to be informed of the various services offered by their community neighbors; following a more intimate setting where Safe Horizon will delve into the journey of survivorship.
