Brooklyn residents and K–12 students are invited to submit designs for the 2026 Brooklyn Pin, a limited-edition collectible celebrating the borough’s culture and identity. All ages are welcome; minors need parental consent. The winning design will be selected by the Borough President and 2025 Brooklyn Arts Ambassador Colm Dillane of KidSuper. More information on eligibility and criteria is available on the website.
Deadline: Original artwork must be submitted by Sunday, November 2,2025 at 11:59 PM

Open Call for Brooklyn Fashion Designers

Five emerging Brooklyn-based fashion designers will be selected to present five complete looks at a full-service fashion show at Brooklyn Borough Hall this fall. Each selected designer will receive a $5,000 grant and mentorship opportunities with Colm Dillane of KidSuper. Applicants must be Brooklyn residents age 18 or older.

Brooklyn Youth Advisory Council – 2025–2026 School Year

High school students passionate about Brooklyn can apply to join the Brooklyn Borough President’s Youth Advisory Council. Selected participants will meet twice a month, virtually and/or in person, with peers, city leaders, and staff to discuss youth issues, propose policy and program recommendations, and lead a service-learning project. Open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors enrolled in NYC public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must provide one adult reference.
