The Flatbush Literacy Zone Welcome Center is a local hub offering free educational, workforce, and support services for individuals and families. Services include adult literacy and High School Equivalency preparation, college and career readiness, job training, digital literacy, and connections to social and community resources. Brooklyn NY Connects provides information and assistance on long-term services and supports for people of all ages, individuals with any disability, caregivers, family members, veterans, and helping professionals. Services include personal care, education and counseling, health and wellness, behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disability supports, and other social services. Walk-ins and appointments are available Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–5 PM, and appointments only on Fridays.
