Emergency Snow Shoveler Positions – Winter 2025–2026

Emergency Snow Shovelers are needed to clear snow and ice from bus stops, crosswalks, hydrants, and step streets after major snowfalls, on a per-diem, temporary basis. Positions pay $19.14 per hour to start and $28.71 after 40 hours in a week. Applicants must be 18 or older, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to perform heavy labor. Use the link to register.

Call for Brooklyn Artists – 2026 Brooklyn Pin Design

Brooklyn residents and K–12 students are invited to submit designs for the 2026 Brooklyn Pin, a limited-edition collectible celebrating the borough’s culture and identity. All ages are welcome; minors need parental consent. The winning design will be selected by the Borough President and 2025 Brooklyn Arts Ambassador Colm Dillane of KidSuper.
