Free emotional healing space for black individuals 18+ impacted by police brutality, racial injustice and COVID-19

Umoja Circles provides free Zoom group support sessions for Black individuals in New York City to share their experiences related to the heightened anti-Black racism amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Umoja Circles meet weekly from November 7 to December 15, 2023 at 6:30PM for six virtual meetings.

To participate, complete the application at bit.ly/umoja-circles by October 27, 2023. Participants will be compensated.

Umoja Circles is a student-run initiative as a part of the Columbia School of Social Work Action Lab for Social Justice.
