The committee will hear an update on the Flatbush African Burial Ground Project and a presentation on the expansion of Commercial Waste Zones.
The committee will hear from the Department of Transportation on plans for the Park Circle Automated Public Toilet, receive an update from the MTA on the Interborough Express process, and an introduction from Stop the Chop NY/NJ to a proposal to ban nonessential helicopter flights over the New York City metropolitan area.
The committee will learn about parliamentary procedure from the CEC and discuss CB14 board membership and strategies for community engagement.
The committee will hear FDC on programs and services for youth and from CAMBA on fostering family acceptance for LGBTQ+ youth. The committee will also discuss the 2026 Youth Conference.
The Executive Committee and chairs of topical and regional committees will review meeting practices.
The committee will hear an overview of programs, services, and the preliminary plan for 1455 Coney Island Avenue from the Sephardic Community Health Center, followed by a project outline on the impact of City of Yes in CB14 from a Planning Fellow with the Fund for the City of New York.
