NYC DOT Art has launched the Community Commissions: Artists Request for Proposals (RFP). This initiative invites artists to collaborate with community-based organizations to create temporary public art on NYC DOT infrastructure citywide. Artists can submit proposals by June 30, 2024. Selected artworks may be displayed for up to 11 months, with funding up to $20,000 available for project costs.
