  • The Multifamily Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program provides rehabilitation loans for the replacement of major building systems including roof and window replacement,  upgrades to heating, electrical or plumbing. The program is suitable for multi-family buildings needing moderate rehabilitation or replacement of one to three building systems but have no or limited ability to leverage private financing.

The Department of Health offers free in-person and virtual trainings to all residents who want to learn about safe and effective methods for rat prevention in the home and community. These free two-hour training is available to everyone, but it may be especially helpful for: superintendents and building staff, property owners and managers, neighborhood associations, community gardeners, business owners and staff. DOHMH also offers more intensive three-day courses for pest control professionals.
