Every year since 2008 Brooklyn Community Board 14 has provided youth ages 14-21 with the opportunity to meet representatives from government agencies, nonprofit organizations and businesses.

At the CB14 Annual Youth Conference, young people learn about and can directly apply for summer opportunities, internships, SYEP, education, civic and social programs and services, and more!
Attendees are invited to participate in mock interviews and interact with elected officials and local community leaders!

The Youth Conference is held in celebration of the life of our late board member Duane Joseph, who was dedicated to this event and to uplifting our community’s youth every day. Special thanks to our event partner, the Flatbush YMCA, our co-sponsor COPO and to Council Member Rita Joseph for their ongoing support.
