IBX Scoping Meeting
The MTA has started the environmental review process for the Interborough Express (IBX) project under SEQRA (New York State Environmental Quality Review Act). The next step, project scoping, invites public input on what issues should be studied in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement. Participants must register to provide formal comments, as there will be no Q&A.
The public can review the draft Scoping Document online and submit comments during the 30-day period ending November 26, either digitally or at scheduled scoping meetings.

All comments received—whether in person or online—will be transcribed, translated, and considered for incorporation into the final Scoping Document, which will be published on the project’s website. Comments may be submitted via email to ibxoutreach@mtacd.org or online.
