Cash For Guns
The Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the NYPD, the New York State Attorney General, and the New York State Comptroller, are holding a gun buy back event.
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, July 18, 2026
- Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Emmanuel Baptist Church, 279 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238
All firearms must be brought to the site unloaded, preferably in a bag or box. This event is strictly anonymous – no questions asked.
Participants will receive a bank card for surrendered firearms as follows:
- $500 bank card for operable handguns & assault rifles.
- $200 bank card for ghost guns or 3D printed guns.
- $75 bank card for operable rifles and shotguns.
- $25 bank card for air guns, imitation pistols, and inoperable firearms.
All firearms are subject to inspection by department specialists – No current or retired law enforcement,
