Film Screening: Stamped from the Beginning
The Center for Law and Social Justice at Medgar Evers College is hosting a free film screening of Stamped from the Beginning as part of the Cinema With a Cause Spring series. The screening will take place at 1637 Bedford Ave on May 20th, at 6 pm.
Cinema with a Cause brings together New York City’s marginalized communities through free screenings of impactful films focusing on social issues, particularly voting and civic engagement. Its mission is to create a space where stories inspire action, spark meaningful conversations, and empower marginalized New Yorkers, especially those aged 17 to 40, to make a difference.
