Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Public Library
Brooklyn Public Library Cortelyou Branch 1305 Cortelyou Road at Argyle Road, Brooklyn

More information

Join Museum on Wheels in Flatbush for Brooklyn–Queens Day, a celebration of Caribbean American Heritage Month. Find the mobile museum at a community block party centering Caribbean American cultural traditions—as well as local artists, storytellers, and stilt walkers! All ages are also welcome to enjoy Carnival-inspired art-making, performances, music, and tasty giveaways from Island Pops and Island Express .

Free and open to the public. Space is limited for all art-making activities; first come, first served. All activities are available throughout the afternoon unless otherwise noted.

The Inside Out project will be on site with their mobile photobooth to take large format portraits of people in the neighborhood and then pasting them to the branch, creating a temporary mural on the exterior walls of Cortelyou Library.
