Join us this Juneteenth in a unique volunteer opportunity that connects us with our collective heritage. Be a part of making history as we learn about and use Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology to explore the discovered Flatbush African Burial Ground at the corner of Church and Bedford Avenues. This volunteer opportunity (for all ages) will allow you to be a citizen scientist in service of identifying the most likely locations of ancestral remains on this sacred ground. The more we learn, the more complete our story becomes
